June Faire – Saturday, June 1, 2024- Free Admission
There is only one annual event when the public can come onto the grounds of the British Home and enjoy themselves, and that is at a typical British village Faire.
It is the British Home’s major fundraising event where many stalls sell beautiful handmade items, home-cooked British foods, and much more – a majority of these are provided and staffed by DBE chapters from this area of California. There are often games, plus wonderful entertainment when Irish, Scottish, and the traditional Morris Dancing is performed. A highlight of the day is a Victorian Tea served on the patio. Also, our Pavilion and barbecue are open and selling Bangers served on a bun, another traditional food. Both these special tastes of Britain are provided by the DBE.
