June Faire – Saturday, June 7, 2025 – Free Admission, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
There is only one annual event when the public can enjoy themselves on the grounds of the British Home, and that is a typical British village faire.
It is the British Home’s major fundraising event where many stalls sell beautiful handmade items, home-cooked British foods, and much more – a majority of these are provided and staffed by DBE chapters from this area of California. There are often games, plus wonderful entertainment, when Irish, Scottish, and traditional Morris Dancing is performed. A highlight of the day is Fish and Chips served on the patio. Also, our Pavilion barbecue is open. Bangers served in a bun, another traditional food. Both of these special tastes of Britain are provided by the DBE.
