The Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit American society of women of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry. The society was founded in the United States on March 15, 1909, as the Imperial Order, Daughters of the Empire in the U.S.A., and became the National Society, Daughters of the British Empire in the U.S.A. on April 14, 1920.

Since 1909, they have led the effort to serve and care for seniors across the US. They have a long and storied history of rolling up their sleeves and doing the hard work for those who need it most. For over 90 years, the DBE have been supporting the British Home.
